The US Commerce Department has postponed making its preliminary margin determinations in the tin mill products trade case.
The agency launched the trade case in May after U.S. Steel and the United Steelworkers (USW) requested dumping investigations into tin mill products from China, Taiwan, and Turkey, as well as a subsidy investigation of China.
Worthington Enterprises reported higher fiscal first-quarter sales and earnings while citing rapidly growing data center demand and continued tightness in the steel market.
Sheet and plate prices continued to tick mostly higher this week amid a supply squeeze that shows no signs of loosening its grip on the US market.
