    Commerce finds higher rates of dumping of Korean coated steels

    The US Department of Commerce is considering raising the anti-dumping duties on imports of corrosion-resistant steel products (CORE) from Korea.

    In the preliminary results of an administrative review, Commerce found dumping rates of 23.4% for KG Dongbu Steel Co., 19.43% for Dongkuk Coated Metal/Aju Steel Co., and 20.58% for five companies not selected for individual review. Those companies are Hyundai Steel, POSCO, POSCO International, SeAH Coated Metal, and SeAH Steel.
