    Written by Stephen Miller

Electra—which makes high-purity iron from a process more familiar in base metals—presented at the fall meeting of the International Iron Metallics Association (IIMA) in Chicago last week. The Boulder, Colo.-based company intends to serve iron-consuming markets in both the US and abroad.

Ternium reported Q3’26 net income of $368 million, compared with $465 million in Q2’26 and a $270-million loss in Q3’25.
