Our next Steel 101 workshop is looking like another well-rounded group with representatives from the manufacturing sector, service centers, metal building, scrap companies, steel mills and one of our own (Sandy Williams). We have had freight and railroad companies express interest, trading companies, the AIIS, rebar companies, full-line service centers, electrical companies, mining companies, steel mills (long products) and financial institutions. At the moment we have room for approximately 6 more people in the February 27-28 workshop which will be held in the Columbus, MS area (Starkville) and include a tour of the Severstal Columbus mini-mill. Information about our program and registration is on our website: www.SteelMarketUpdate.com or you are welcome to call our office and speak to me personally: 800-432-3475. You can also send us an email at: info@SteelMarketUpdate.com
We are working with on finalizing a date with a northern mill and hope to have those details finalized once we match up hotel dates with mill availability minus holidays…
For those of you who are LinkedIn members – we have our own steel group which is conveniently called: Steel Market Update. If you are a registered LinkedIn user you can sign in and search for our group and request to join. If you are not a LinkedIn member you need to join first (it is free). We do control the content and keep the focus on the steel industry.
As always your business is truly appreciated.
