Community Chat to Feature Evraz NA Strategy Chief Jefferson Shaw
Written by Michael Cowden
November 23, 2021
Don’t forget to tune into our next Community Chat with Jefferson Shaw, vice president of strategy for Evraz North America.
The free webinar will be on Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 11 a.m. ET (10 a.m. CT). Click here to register.
We’ll talk about Evraz NA’s plans to run its steel mill in Pueblo, Colo., on solar energy and, broadly speaking, the interplay between renewable energy and traditional energy sources like oil and natural gas. (Hint: They are not mutually exclusive.)
We’ll also talk about decarbonization, the opportunities for solar power, hydrogen, and carbon capture and storage.
And we’ll of course talk steel – the outlook for pipelines and tubular products as well as the infrastructure bill and its potential impact on plate, rail, rod and rebar.
As always, we’ll keep it to about 45 minutes. So you can (virtually) drop in, learn something and then get on with your day.
