This week’s base CSP will be $870/st, the Charlotte, N.C.-based steelmaker told customers in a letter on Tuesday.

The company noted that lead times for all spot orders will be offered between 3 and 5 weeks. Published extras will apply to all spot transactions.

At Nucor’s California joint-venture subsidiary, CSI, the price will be $920/st, down $20 from the previous week.

As of May 20, SMU’s average HRC price was $845/st FOB mill, east of the Rockies. That’s flat vs. the week prior but down $105/st after reaching a recent high of $950/st in mid-March, according to SMU’s interactive pricing tool.

Meanwhile, SMU’s average lead time for HRC stood at 4.6 weeks as of May 14, 0.5 weeks shorter than two weeks earlier.
