Nucor held its hot-rolled (HR) coil list price flat again this week, according to its Monday, Sept. 15 consumer spot price (CSP) notice.
The steelmaker said in a letter to customers that it would keep its HR spot price unchanged for another week. It last raised prices by $10 per short ton (st) on Aug. 25; it has held the price at $875/st since then.
Nucor also said HR pricing at its West Coast joint venture, California Steel Industries (CSI), would also remain unchanged from last week at $935/st.
The Charlotte, N.C.-based company also said it would continue to offer lead times of 3-5 weeks for HR.
