Nucor taps Theophilus for new HR role

Nucor has appointed Nicole B. Theophilus to the newly created position of EVP of talent and human resources, effective April 29.
The Charlotte, N.C.-based steelmaker said Theophilus will focus on Nucor’s enterprise talent development and human resources strategy.
She most recently served as EVP and chief human resources officer of Wabtec Corp., a global transportation solutions company.
“Niki is an accomplished leader who will be a strong addition to our executive team,” Leon Topalian, Nucor’s chair, president, and CEO said in a statement.
