Willbanks Metals is upgrading the plate processing capabilities at its Fort Worth, Texas, facility with a new heavy gauge cut-to-length line and stretcher leveler.
The new line, from Red Bud Industries, “is an exciting addition giving our current and future customers the flattest plate product in the market,” said Ryan Letz, Willbanks’ co-owner and CCO.
The new coil processing line, expected to be operational in late 2022, will include a coil stage and load system rated for 60,000-pound coils, a stretcher leveler, 150-ton shear, and various types of material handling equipment.
Willbanks is in the process of identifying a new strategic location for its existing cut-to-length line.
