Veteran trade attorney Lewis Leibowitz will join SMU for a Community Chat on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 11 am ET. You can register here.
Leibowitz is a regular columnist for SMU, where he writes about trade issues – typically from the perspective of steel buyers, traders, and downstream manufacturers.
We’ll discuss Section 232 tariffs doubling to 50% and their impact on the market as well as the latest on reciprocal tariffs and what they mean for metals. We’ll also delve into some of the legal challenges to President Trump’s tariffs.
And we’ll take your question, too, so make sure to think of some good ones to drop in the Q&A next Wednesday.
Note that while the live webinar is free for anyone to attend, a recording and the slide deck will be available only to SMU subscribers. Contact SMU sales executive Luis Corona at luis.corona@crugroup.com if you’d like to learn more about subscriptions.
Recordings of prior Community Chats – including a good one on July 23 with Institute for Supply Management (ISM) CEO Tom Derry – are here.
