SMU Expands Exhibition Hall at Steel Summit
Written by Tim Triplett
January 6, 2020
Demand for exhibition booths has increased steadily over the 10 years of Steel Market Update’s Steel Summit Conference. This year, SMU has doubled the exhibition space and made several improvements in the traffic flow of the hall.
To better serve attendees during breaks and the networking receptions, we have increased the number of food and beverage stations. There will also be more seating within the exhibition hall. New this year, on Monday, Aug. 24, there will be a working lunch hosted by Delta Steel Technologies right in the exhibit area.
Many companies return year after year due to the direct bottom-line results they can measure by exhibiting at the conference. Meeting both current and potential clients face-to-face over the three-day conference cements relationships and offers a chance for exhibitors to raise their brand recognition and to educate attendees about their specific product or service.
SMU’s goal is to enhance networking, and by positioning seating areas within the exhibition hall, more attendees can meet, mix and mingle throughout the conference.
Additionally, for companies that require private meeting space, we are now offering meeting rooms on site at the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC).
To book an exhibition booth or a meeting room, contact Jill Waldman at jill@steelmarketupdate.com or give her a call at 303-570-6570.
SMU’s 2020 Steel Summit is set for Aug. 24-26 in Atlanta. Click here for more information and to register.
