SMU has done an analysis on the old and new extras, provided below. SDI extras increased an average of 20.3 percent.
Zinc prices declined significantly during the first quarter of the year, dropping from January’s high of $1.1186 to a low of $0.8236 in March. Prices increased steadily in May and June, then jumped nearly a dime in early-July and again in early-August. The current price for zinc is about $1.1221 per pound, according to Kitco.

CRU: Demand weakness continues to weigh on global sheet markets
