US CR prices still more expensive than imports

Offshore cold-rolled (CR) coil prices remain notably cheaper than domestic product. That remains the case even as US CR coil prices continue to tick lower.

All told, US CR prices are still 17.5% more expensive than imports. The premium is largely sideways from last week, when the domestic prices were 17.6% more expensive than offshore CR coil. Though flat week over week (w/w), the premium is down nearly half from 31.5% in early January.
